Baltic International Academy welcomed students, parents, educators and partners on our WORLD EXPO Virtual Edu Fair Spring 2021.

The Baltic International Academy is one of the largest non-governmental HEIs in the Baltic States, which was founded in 1992.

The Academy is located in the capital of Latvia – Riga – with its unique international environment near the Gulf of Riga and Jurmala. It is an exciting place to live and study for full-time and international exchange students.

The Baltic International Academy has approximately 1900 students, of whom 400 foreign students from 30 countries. More than 30,000 people graduated from the Academy during its existence.

The Academy implements 24 study programmes in 9 fields of study, incl. 13 study programmes in 6 study directions with English language of instructions, at different levels of education from the College (the 1st level of higher professional education) to the higher doctorates:
Economics and Finances – BSc, MSc & PhD
Translation and Interpretation – BSc
Management and Administration – BSc & MSc
European Studies (International Relations, Political Science) – BSc & MSc
Tourism and Hospitality Management – BSc & MSc (ENG)
Psychology – BSc & MSc (ENG)

All implemented study programmes in the Academy had passed the National accreditation and received positive evaluation by local and international experts.

Our facilities include: scientific libraries and reading halls, canteens, computer labs, Media-bridge system, a bookshop and a Conference centre “Lomonosov”, Students’ Union, Ceramics and Drawing Studio, art gallery “BiArt”, Rerikh Hall, 6 Cultural and Information Centres.

We offer additionally: individual approach to every our student, flexible system of discounts, opportunity to apply for the Latvian State and European (ERASMUS+ and ERASMUS-Placement) scholarships, Summer and Winter Schools, internships and traineeship programmes, short-term and professional non-degree programmes, scientific and research activities, International foundation Programmes, Inter-University and exchange programmes as well as guidance and advice on immigration, Academy life and studies, extended services in our Visa and Student Support Centres.
