in this trip to the countryside in Chiba, Japan, we are forever changed. After the wedding, we decided to go into the countryside to visit Shu and her Bf, Ryo San, who owns Ryo Surf House, an airbnb in Chiba Prefecture. Ryo is leading a life that we secretly wanted our entire life but did not dare to pursue.

I learnt so much about Koji because Ryo is secretly a Koji Master. We learnt about this alternative lifestyle which was so refreshing and foreign to us in Singapore and we loved it. We fell in love with the notion of building our own house and made it our retirement plan. It was so different in every way to where we come from that it led us to question in such a deep level, what do we want in this short life of ours.

Here is our adventure, part 2. We settled into the alternative lifestyle and learn to let things take it's course naturally. Went fishing and took in the countryside with Tatsuya and saw some wood to make our own serving boards.
