WHAT DO WE DO WITH OUR ANGER? ✝️
In today’s devotional, Danny speaks honestly about the emotions many believers have felt in the wake of recent tragedy — shock, grief, anger, and even confusion. When violence strikes, especially against someone boldly standing for biblical truth, it can shake us deeply. But the question we must ask ourselves is this: what do we do with that anger?
Turning to Matthew 5:43–44, Jesus gives a command that is difficult but clear: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” As Christians, we are not called to celebrate someone’s downfall, nor to harbor hatred in our hearts. We are called to pray — even for those who commit evil — and to hope that they come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
This message challenges us to respond not in human strength, but through a deeper relationship with Christ. Through prayer, seeking God with all our hearts, and clinging to His Word, we find the strength to forgive, to love, and to trust that justice ultimately belongs to Him.
