These Spotted Hyena were filmed on location in the DinoKeng Game Reserve in South Africa. They are feasting on a Blesbok antelope before being prepared for release into the reserve. Many big predators are first kept in this manner before being officially released.

The hyena laugh heard throughout this video is thought to be an indicator of social status.
