RNAV GPS Instrument Approach Moorabbin Airport

Описание к видео RNAV GPS Instrument Approach Moorabbin Airport

Ride along as we fly an RNAV approach to Moorabbin Airport during an Instrument Rating training flight. This video includes Air Traffic Control radio calls, two camera views and a copy of the RNAV approach plate showing our position in the approach.

There were thunderstorms in the area and several layers of cloud, but we managed to find a decent gap to undertake this flight.

A big thanks to my instructor Steve who allowed me to film this. I have edited out the majority of his instruction for brevity and to protect his intellectual property, however a few classic Steve comments pop up here and there! Be sure to check out the other Instrument Rating videos I'll be releasing on this channel for other approaches and airports.

If you are looking for flight instruction in Australia, I heartily encourage you to check out Peter Bini Flight Training at Moorabbin Airport who I am doing my Instrument Rating training with.

Aircraft is a Piper Arrow CSU retractable, VH-LCM.

VERY IMPORTANT: I am a private pilot and am NOT qualified to give flying instruction. This video, like all videos on this channel, has been significantly edited from the original source footage and is provided for entertainment purposes only. Many radio calls and procedures have been omitted. If you have any questions about anything you see or hear, please speak to a Certified Flying Instructor first.

Filmed on a GoPro Hero4 Session and GoPro Hero4 Silver.
