spent 5 days deep in the tropical rainforest building a unique survival shelter beside a natural waterfall.
Using only wild bamboo and forest materials, I built a raised shelter with a curved dome roof, designed to withstand heavy rain while blending naturally into the jungle environment.
The shelter includes a sleeping area, ladder access, safety railings, a fire cooking space, and a bamboo water system that channels fresh waterfall water directly to the shelter. Every step of the construction was done by hand, using traditional survival knowledge and respecting the balance of nature.
This project is not just about survival skills — it’s about living in harmony with nature. The forest is not an enemy, but a friend when we understand it, respect it, and protect it. I believe sustainable living and primitive building methods help us reconnect with nature while leaving minimal impact on the environment.
No modern tools. No machines.
