Key Highlights for 2025-26
Artist Selection: This year marks the 78th edition of the festival. A fresh selection of artists was conducted in November 2025 for key roles, including the iconic role of King Kansa, ministers, and other central characters.
Government Support: The Odisha government has sanctioned a significant grant of ₹1.5 crore for the festival. Additionally, around 200 participating artists will receive an honorarium of ₹10,000 each.

The Grand Stage
