Our garage doors are bare uninsulated metal and at this time I don't want to buy new insulated doors. This creates an issue with installing a heater and losing any heat through these bare metal doors.

For about $60 worth of 1" x 4' x 8' foam insulation panels (Aluminum or thermal foil-backed,) tape, and 3 to 4 hours of time I was able to get them insulated.

The foam insulation is cut down to measurement to fit in the channel of each garage door panel and then taped off with Aluminum foil HVAC tape (see link below) to make for a better-insulated garage and to stop heat loss through those doors. So far it seems to be a big help for my garage!

I'd suggest using a serrated knife (bread knife) to make your gets as that worked out really well for me. (just don't tell your significant other)
