Featuring the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu that represents the creation and preservation. The avatars related to Hindu texts is an allegorical presentation of Darwinian evolution. The Puranas speak of the different manifestations or incarnations of the Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu rises from the lowest scale of life through the fish, the tortoise, and the moves to the perfection of humanity. This is, a crude representation of the ascending scale of Divine creation which coincides with the modern theory of evolution. As per the Vishnu Dashavatara inscription, this dance production focuses on thematic production showcasing the ten incarnation stories of Lord Vishnu.
