My first time with the Everyday from CG. It went very well. Also I got in a new scent from Stirling that I just had to buy because the scent sounded really good.

Razor: Charcoal Goods - Everyday (Brass)
Blade: Gillette - Silver Blue (3)
Lather: Stirling - Intrepid Man
Brush: Semogue - Torga C5 Premium (23 uses)
Post: Lucky Tiger - Tonic

Razor and Blade Notes - Charcoal Goods - Everyday (Brass) ::: Gillette - Silver Blue (3 uses):
There was a little blade feel, but it was very comfortable and near-smooth. The GSB and this razor go really well together for me. The cut was very close, but the comfort was high as well.

The only con I had with the razor was that this head reminds me of a Karve, and so it may not really bring too much to the table that the Karve doesn't already.

Additionally, it was a bit head-weighted. I sometimes hold a razor and thin kthat before I shave, but then during the shave, everything just works out and I don't remember that I had an issue. However, with this one, I did notice during the shave. This is the Maze handle and it's pretty short. So I'll try a longer one and see if stuff starts to balance out.

And what does this head compare to in Karve? I'd say the A plate perhaps. Or maybe a half a step lower than an A.

Soap Notes - Stirling - Intrepid Man:
Them: "This deep, spicy, oriental scent has a rich upfront blend of Indian sandalwood, cinnamon, coriander, and juniper berry. In the middle, it has lavender, orange, rosemary, and ginger and it's rounded out by tonka bean and vanilla."

Me: I got so little of this scent profile from the soap. I'm sure the AS and EDT offer more, but all I got was the orange, and a light generic, pleasant cologne scent. To my nose, nothing deep and spicy about this one.

The weakness in this one has to be the ... weakness of the scent. It's nice, but just so light. I'm sur ehte AS or EDT are much better. The soap must be getting in the way of the scent nuances.

Scent Strength: 3/10, lightly present during shaving.

Lather: Stirling takes so much water, it's amazing. Slick and creamy lather. Just the right kind for this mild razor.

Hydration: Perfect (for me)

* 0.25 tsp soap with a Lightly-Wet brush
* 5 tsp added to make lather
* = 6 passes of lather

Bowl: Roger Quintero 3D Printed Bowl
I use the XL version of this bowl.

Brush Notes - Semogue - Torga C5 Premium (23 uses):
I love the way this one feels now. Broken in now to the comfort and usability level, as we wait for the full break in to come as the tips keep splitting. Comfy and massagey.

*Shave Quality*
During the Shave Feel:
Cheeks: Almost Smooth
Neck: Almost Smooth
After the Shave Closeness:
Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get
Neck: Cut flush to where I just see the tips (above average for me)

I'm gradually adding answers to frequent questions here: http://www.sugardaddyshaves.com

Wetshaving is the age-old shaving method where you create a lather from a soap or cream, usually with a brush. And these days, we also usually mean using a safety razor (aka double edge or DE) or single edge or straight razor to remove the hair. We often enjoy less irritated skin, healthier skin, more enjoyable shaves, and often closer shaves than those who use a multi-bladed cartridge and canned shaving foam.
