I purchased the beautiful custom-made engagement ring from Diamonds Direct in Charlotte, NC. After searching through multiple jewelry stores, from large chains to small shops, I finally discovered Diamonds Direct. We discussed my vision for the ring, and Kim offered to show me a selection of loose diamonds to begin the custom process. She even taught me how to examine the diamonds with her magnification lens to ensure I found the one that fit MY standards. I searched through at least 15 oval diamonds in my carat-size range, but did not find one I loved. At this point, most diamond stores would shake my hand, thank me for looking, and show me the door... NOT Diamonds Direct!

To my surprise, Kim then offered to fly additional stones in directly from ISRAEL to ensure I found my perfect diamond! Three days later, she called to invite me back to the store, and I found my PERFECT diamond... and the price was actually LOWER than the ones I found on "wholesale" websites!! They even had the in-house jeweler build a custom setting to my exact design, specifically for the diamond I selected. The general manager, Mark, then agreed to help with my surprise proposal! My custom ring would not be complete until January 3rd, but at that time I would already be in Colorado. Mark offered to ship the ring and personally guarantee that it would arrive in Colorado in time for my January 4th proposal (our last day there)!! On the day of the proposal, the ring arrived as planned, and Mark even called personally to confirm it had arrived!

My ENTIRE experience with Diamonds Direct was amazing! They made me feel like so much more than a customer... I felt like family! When I returned with my fiancé on a busy Saturday, they took time to hug us and discuss the proposal details. I HIGHLY recommend Diamonds Direct to anyone shopping for a ring. The selection is vast, the prices are rock-bottom, and most importantly, the people are FANTASTIC!
