My easy tips for playing infantry.

Monitor size 1080p - G500s - 400DPI 23%

It will increase your hit ratio about 5-15%. Keep in mind this is what I used it can vary.
Set HUD size to 100% and hit markers to 150% - My reason. I have bad eyesight so bigger is better for me. Bigger hitmarkers allows me to improve with hit confirmation. This is optional.
Whats the color you can track the best? Whatever this color is set your gun's sight reticle to this. For most people it's green. Make it ~60% and ~150% glow. It pairs well with the large hitmarker size.

Additionally with the hitmarkers you choose the color that you can track best as the Killshot color. Eg. Green/white for regular hits, Blue/black headshot, Red or Cyan for Killshots. I alternate depending on my mood aka Drunk, Tired or Normal.

Make all the enemy icons larger and lessen friendly. Aim down sight friendly icons go to 0% and Objectives go to 10%. Enemy's stay 100%. Remove player name is optional. DO NOT SCALE icons so that the icons stay large not matter the distance. At distance, you aim right below the point to land shots reference any one of my videos.

Graphics - Set everything low expect Mesh, keep it at ultra. I use 4X antialiasing because my PC can handle it while maintaining 144FPS. Download and edit a user cfg file. Edit it so that it fits your PC specs well. user cfg placed in the link below.

ADS SCALING: For a lesser average shooter, I suggest using this ON. This makes recoil control a very small issue and is gives most players the "competitive edge". It removes the ZOOM feature while aiming down sights. It is good if you play 1 map or just TDM. You can make it work in CQ etc but keep your engagements well in your weapon's effective range. Paired with a High FOV i.e 90(+106). You won't be able to see very far away but if you're trying to shoot beyond 200ms with an AEK or something gun, you should use a different gun i.e. something suited for the engagement. Uniform Soldier Aiming - If this is not on, put it on. Though some people like it off, it has helped me a lot when transitioning from Aiming to hip fire and vice versa. Play around with it.
Ensure that you can at least do an accurate 180 on someone. This is something you need to play around with. Don't let your aim feel "wobbly". If it does start, try gradually lowering or upping your sensitivity on both mouse and in game
