This video conference recording is a requirement by my Visa Sponsor as a J1 Exchange Teacher Participant in the United States. The Cultural Exchange Google Meet activity between Filipino and American students has a meaningful and lasting impact on all participants. It provides students with a unique opportunity to interact with peers from another country, helping them develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. By sharing their daily routines, school experiences, languages, and customs, students learn that while cultures may differ, many values such as respect, friendship, and cooperation are shared across communities.

This exchange also helps strengthen students’ communication and social skills. Participating in live discussions builds confidence, encourages active listening, and supports the development of speaking skills in a real-world, authentic setting. For students in special classes, the experience promotes inclusion, self-esteem, and a sense of achievement as they successfully engage with international peers.

Additionally, the activity fosters global awareness and open-mindedness at an early age.
