So what does the Wiim Ultra do? It streams music, either over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, including Google Cast. It's got analog and digital connections for other gear, including a phono input. There's an HDMI ARC connection for your TV, too. The Ultra can send out a Bluetooth signal as well, letting you listen through a pair of wireless headphones or a set of Bluetooth speakers.

Wiim's user-friendly app gives you granular control over the Ultra, including EQs and other sound tweaks. You can add the Ultra to a Wiim whole-house system, and also use the app's room correction feature to analyze and compensate for your room's configuration. It can make a big difference in your sound!

You can also control the Wiim Ultra by using its 3.5-inch color touchscreen and big volume knob, but the thing we liked most about that screen is that it can display album art and song info while you're streaming, which is a nice touch.
