I see a lot of pitches from new start up companies from all over the world. Most see international expansion as a future ambition, a few years down the line. But I think that’s short sighted. Let me explain why...


I am Oliver Dowson, International Expansion Specialist, CEO of ICC and Angel Investor.

Over the last 40 years, I have travelled extensively in over 120 countries, created, managed and sold businesses in 10 countries on my own account, and many others in more countries for clients.

In each of those countries I've negotiated contracts, studied business legislation and employed thousands of people.

In my early business life, I successfully created 7 new businesses in different sectors in the UK for overseas owners. I moved on to invent and build one of the world's first energy and environmental management consultancies – long before Global Warming became a headline issue.

I’m fortunate and proud to have first hand experience of working closely both with some of the world's biggest multinationals and SMEs across a wide spectrum of service companies and industry. Now, with my colleagues and associates at International Corporate Creations, I harness my experience to help other companies achieve success through international expansion.
