Verse 1

Salutations to Shiva, the radiant Self,
the ocean of all virtues,
destroyer of worldly attachments,
uplifter of the humble and guide of the wise.

Verse 2

Salutations to Shiva, protector of frightened children and sages,
destroyer of Daksha’s arrogance,
the root cause beyond time,
the compassionate guardian of all beings.

Verse 3

Salutations to Shiva, giver of supreme boons,
destroyer of demonic lineages,
protector of creation and bridge of dharma,
the eight-formed Lord bearing the bull emblem.

Verse 4

Salutations to Shiva, wielder of the thunderous axe,
whose head is the divine river removing sins,
destroyer of sins and curses,
ever praised by the virtuous.

Verse 5

Salutations to Shiva, whose hair is the vast sky,
of divine and majestic form,
whose name alone burns all sins,
the rarest goal of the devoted heart.

Verse 6

Salutations to Shiva, adorned with Brahma’s head,
wearer of serpent earrings,
revealer of the Vedic path,
the one who dissolves ego and time.

Salutations to Shiva, destroyer of desires,
