붕어섬이라 불리는 ‘외앗날’을 내려다보기 위해서는 국사봉이나 오봉산이 좋다. 호수 주변을 둘러싼 산을 따라 등산로가 만들어져 있지만 사진을 찍기 위해서는 국사봉 아래만 가도 좋다. 등산로 입구에 차를 놓고 산을 오른다. 주차장은 20여 대가 채 못 들어올 정도로 좁아 길가까지 늘어섰다. 붕어섬이 보이는 촬영 포인트는 걸어서 15분이다. 처음 절반까지는 계단이 놓여있다. 가까운 거리라고 만만하게 보면 안 된다. 급한 경사를 깎아 만든 곳이라 숨이 차오른다. 보통 등산이건 마라톤이건 초반이 힘든 법인데 국사봉 오르는 길은 초반만 오르다 끝나는 짧은 거리다. 숨이 턱 밑까지 차오를 때쯤 나무데크로 만들어진 사진 포인트에 도착했다.이곳은 일출을 볼 수 있는 곳이라 낮보다 새벽에 찾는 사람이 많다. 사실 옥정호의 백미는 물안개다. 땅과 물의 온도 차로 인해 동틀 때쯤 보이는 운해의 풍경은 선경(仙境)을 떠올리게 한다.

It’s a place that was created by cutting a steep slope, so you’ll be out of breath. Usually, the beginning of a mountain climb or a marathon is difficult, but the path up Guksabong is a short distance that ends after only the beginning. When I was out of breath, I arrived at a photo point made of a wooden deck. Since this is a place where you can see the sunrise, more people visit at dawn than during the day. In fact, the best part of Okjeongho is the water fog. The scenery of the sea of ​​clouds seen around dawn due to the temperature difference between the land and water is reminiscent of a fairyland.
