Greenhouse Insulation Is it worth the bother?

We used bubble wrap to insulate the greenhouse over winter. The time has come, we have had suitable cold and frosty weather over January so we can now give you a proper review of our bubble-wrapped unheated greenhouse. Was it worth the effort, the expense? Did it make a difference to the plants in the greenhouse? Did it keep the greenhouse warm? What were the negatives or positives?
Will we do it again next year?
