'ACID ACID ASIMOV' is a limited lathe cut 10" split of thirty copies between Portuguese acts ACID ACID, a 'One Man Kosmische Band' and legendary underground mainstain ASIMOV.
ACID ACID is the brainchild of awarded radio producer Tiago Castro who through his program 'A Floresta Encantada' has dwelled and opened doors to all things kraut, prog and psychedelic on Portuguese airwaves. With a discography spanning two albums, 2016's 'Acid Acid' and 'Jodorowsky' from 2020, and multiple collaborations with other household experimental Portuguese musicians, 'Gravitas' is yet another step on spacey ground featuring Carlos Ferreira and João Arsénio of ASIMOV on second guitar and drums respectively.

ASIMOV does not need an introduction for the most attentive ones. On their last ever studio recordings, 'Aerogramas - E O Futuro Chegou' represent a sonic maelstrom of percussion, heavy guitars and manic vocals where the trio push their brand of heavy psych down a cliff of Total Apocalypse Rock. Whereas 'Aerogramas' original version can be found on the 'Dialects + Stenar Musik' double compact disc, 'E O Futuro Chegou' was totally improvised on the moment of recording and can in fact be described as the last ASIMOV song to be captured.
