This week, a whopping 20 feet or 6.1 meters of rapid uplift was confirmed to have recently occurred at the highly dangerous Awu volcano. Meanwhile, in Iceland, while a major effusive eruption of the Reykjanes volcano occurred, the Grimsvotn volcano was the site of an unusual glacial flood. And, in Hawaii, the Kilauea volcano produced another magmatic intrusion this week in its east rift zone. This video will discuss these stories and list the 46 volcanoes which are actively erupting around the planet.
