Volos Greece 4K Morning Summer Walk - Fishing Boats to Fish Market on Iolkou Street Walking Tour

In this summer morning walk, we start from the Volos harbour, where local fishermen are bringing in their catch from the night before. We stroll by the marina, admiring the yachts docked along the water. Continuing along the promenade, we pass by several striking metallic sculptures near the port authority building.

Turning onto Iolkou (Eleftheriou Venizelou) street, we explore a variety of local shops, including markets selling fresh fish, fruits, vegetables, and other local delicacies. Our journey takes us to Eleftherias square, where we enjoy the shade of tall trees and observe locals sipping their morning coffee and chatting with friends.

We conclude our walk on the other side of Iolkou street, having experienced a vibrant slice of daily life in Volos.
