Indian Meteorological Department Updates: Monsoon Withdrawal and Upcoming Weather

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued important updates regarding the monsoon conditions and upcoming weather events:

Monsoon Withdrawal: The IMD reports that conditions are becoming favorable for the further withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon from some additional parts of northwest and adjoining western India within the next 2-3 days.

Low Pressure Area Formation: By around September 30, 2023, a Low Pressure Area is expected to form over the north Andaman Sea and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Subsequently, it is likely to move west-northwestwards with the possibility of gradual intensification.

Heavy Rainfall Forecast: A fresh spell of heavy rainfall is anticipated over East India starting from September 29th. #mausamstation #monsoon #heavyrainfall
