Discover this 4.3-mile out-and-back trail near Index, Washington. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 hours and 21 minutes to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through October.

Bridal Veil Falls is a beautiful waterfall that roars down a 100-foot rock face, sliding off of granite slabs and tumbling onto the rocks and Bridal Veil Creek down below. The majority of elevation gain is on the Bridal Veil trail turnoff, about 1/2 mile from the top. Here, you will also climb flights of stairs to get to the top. There is a lot of skree around this point of the hike, but you are rewarded with a stunning view in both directions once you’re there. Bring layers, as there are temperature changes with elevation, and you may get wet.
