A short time lapse video showing my painting process, from blank sheet to finished painting.
The painting is built up in three layers, or washes, of light, medium and dark tonal values.
The scene is Broadsands Beach, between Paignton and Brixham. It makes a good painting subject, as the beach and rocks are so colourful, especially when lit by the morning sun.
