Time/Date out of sync is a common symptom on Polycom phones. This simple video shows how to add the Time server information that will correct this problem. One reason this issue arises because the DNS server in your network is not providing the SNTP server information the phone needs to find out what time it is.

In this video, you learn the quick and simple steps needed to set the time server (SNTP). You will be accessing the advanced programming to do the following:

1. Hit the HOUSE key (on any VVX model phone)
2. select SETTINGS
3. ADVANCED - password is usually 456
4. ADMINISTRATION
5. NETWORK CONFIGURATION
6. select the SNTP Address and add: pool.ntp.org
7. also, select the GMT OFFSET - choose the numbers of hours your location is different from Greenwich Mean Time.
8. Hit the BACK navigation until you reach the screen to SAVE CONFIG.

In this example, we used "Pool.NTP.ORG" as our SNTP server, but there are others out there you can choose from.
