তালেবানের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়ায় থাকা ওয়াহিদুল্লাহ হাশিমি বলেন, ‘কোনও গণতান্ত্রিক ব্যবস্থা থাকবে না। কারণ এ দেশে এর কোনও ভিত্তিই নেই। আফগানিস্তানে কোন ধরনের রাজনৈতিক ব্যবস্থা চলবে সেটা নিয়ে আলোচনার কিছু নেই। এটা পরিষ্কার। এখানে শরিয়াহ আইনই শেষ কথা।’

"There will be no democracy," said Wahidullah Hashimi, a Taliban decision-maker. Because it has no basis in this country. There is no discussion about what kind of political system will work in Afghanistan. It's clear. Sharia law is the last word here.'
