And dealing with recurrence of breast cancer is tough because when you're in that surveillance mode and your oncologist is just blowing you,
not everybody does the same thing.

And also picking up on recurrence can be a tough, tough finding unless it's really the cancer has spread and then you're coming in with symptoms. Thankfully, now there are going to be tools and they're coming out where we can even pick up circulating tumor cells in the blood, which is amazing before we never had this at our disposal. And now microscopically, if we can pick up tumor coming back, that could help us drive and get people in earlier for treatment or in earlier for evaluation.

So stay tuned, but I imagine that this is going to be very, very instrumental in the future for women and men that are suffering from recurrence of breast cancer, maybe catching it earlier.”

We will feature stories of women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and share their journeys.

There are several ways to diagnose breast cancer, including mammograms, biopsies, and ultrasounds. Once breast cancer is diagnosed, there are a few treatment options available, including surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. The best way to treat breast cancer is to catch it early and to get the best treatment possible.

There is a strong community of women who have been affected by breast cancer. In addition, there are a number of organizations and resources available to help women find the support they need.
