Easter has come and gone. What a great celebration we had, and I know other churches had the same. Celebrating His death, because He allows us to celebrate His life. I pray that you had a great Easter service.

You know, Easter is a great time of the year. We as Christians, we love this day because it's a day of coming together, and to remember and recognize that over 2,000 years ago on this day Jesus Christ rose from the grave. You know Easter is not about bunnies or Easter eggs, it's about an empty tomb. That's what we celebrated yesterday, and we asked God for a special day.

We asked for His presence, His power, and for His plan for our church and for other churches, and God honored that prayer. We started with a 6:45 sunrise service, and it was a glorious time to be in the Word of God, to be worshipping Him as the sun came up. What a glorious time. Then we had a great breakfast that our Hispanic ministry provided for us. Then we went into our Sunday School class, and then we had a glorious 10:30 service. The music, the worship was just over the top.

People kept coming, and extra chairs had to be brought out, as we celebrate a life that we have, because of the death that He took on Himself. No other person, no other deity has ever done this for mankind. And we say He's alive, He's alive, He's alive forevermore. He's no longer in that tomb. He is raised from the dead.

You know the Bible says that, "The same Spirit that raised Him from the dead abides in us." He also said that, "He came that we might have life and that life more abundantly." But we only have the life we have today because of His death. That's why we celebrate this funeral, you want to say. But it's not a funeral, it's a resurrection. And I just pray that this Easter that you were ministered to by the Lord, because it is a special day because of what He did, we can now enjoy a great life. And my prayer is that you're having a great life now.
