Certainly Clinton deserves some credit for that remarkable economic growth, but just as certainly he can’t claim all the credit. How much he deserves is a matter of opinion that will probably be debated for years to come. By the time Clinton left office, the economy was slowing rapidly, and it slipped into recession in March 2001, just weeks after George W. Bush was sworn in.

It is never mentioned that George Bush inherited an economy that was headed into recession, which began two months after he took office and ended in November of 2001.)"

Bush family seemed to have a tradition.Both father and son are decent and considerate men,but they do not like to explain themselves and would rather leave history to be the judge of their policies.("I would be at a press conference with the President, in the epicenter of those world-changing events, and I would think, George, explain it; don't just say it." Blair's memoir on GWB).
