New French Army Project for Bolt Action 3rd Edition

Hey everyone and thanks for watching.

This is the first video in a series where I collect, assemble, paint and game with a brand new French Army for Bolt Action 3rd edition. I had originally intended on doing a winter German army, but after the first models (30) were painted, the varnish stage went horrendously wrong leaving me with furry, bubbly models that would have taken an age to sort, and I just didn't want to paint Germans again!

So I'm doing French, and have put together a 1250 points army under 3rd Edition force organisation using 2nd edition points values. No doubt this will all change when the get-by army list for the French is released sometime after the 3rd Edition drops. It will be some time before the actual Armies Of France book is released butt he get-by list will hopefully does what it says on the tin.

Either way, I'm excited about doing an army outside the usual Big 5 (Soviet, British, German, US and Japanese). I've done a test model which will be coming in a later video and I've assembled the first batch of 6 models to paint using a new technique, again, more in a later video.
