In this video I show you how to partition an external hard drive. Make sure you back up any files you have on the drive before you do this as it will erase them!

I recently purchased a 4TB WD My Passport External Hard Drive from Costco. Since I have a Mac, I had to reformat it so that it was compatible with my computer. While I'm in there, I might as well partition the hard drive so that I can use it for a Time Machine backup as well as file storage without there being any issues.
