Sometimes it feels as though we are powerless to make a difference in our world. The Unitarians of the early 19th century rejected the idea that our lives are predetermined, and preached about our power to make a difference, to choose our fate. In a world full of turmoil, their message offers hope with its faith in our ability to change the world for the better.

Our collections in August, with the exception of online donations, will be shared with the Good Cause of the Month, Whizz Kidz. Whizz Kidz is a charity supporting young wheelchair users up to age 25 - providing bespoke wheelchairs and mobility equipment to help them get around confidently. They also offer skills training and employability programmes to build independence.
