The statue of Lord Ganesh, the second largest of India and the largest of Haryana, has been built in Bahadurgarh. The Ganesh Dham has a 74-foot-tall statue built after 10 years of hard work by the sculptors. The idol of Lord Ganesha in golden color is giving blessings to the devotees. The biggest statue of Lord Ganesha is in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The 85-foot-tall statue was built in 2001 in another ashram. The 74-foot-tall statue at Ganapati Dham in Bahadurgarh is directly visible from National Highway number 10. Ganapati Dham also houses the idol of Lord Ganesha along with the ice Shivling, and the grand idols of Sri Ram Darbar. Ganapati Dham president Ashok Gupta told that Lord Ganesha is the first to be remembered among all the gods. The 74-foot-high statue of Lord Ganesha will awaken the spirit of devotion in the hearts of people more. He told that the statue has been prepared and on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain will install the idol and dedicate the temple to the people. Dahi Handi program has also been organized during this period.
