I truly enjoyed reading this book as it was mostly told through a story of a Tech CEO that had to turn around her team of dysfunctional executives quickly. As a result, I learned many insights, and I am implementing them immediately with my team.

I recommend this book if you are trying to build and run a highly effective team that is enjoyable to be around. This is a fantastic book for team leaders and managers to read.

The Book in Three Thoughts:
1. The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni shows us the power of working together to achieve incredible work by focusing on the team’s missions above the goals of each individual.

2. We learn how the team can win, and thereby the company can win by overcoming these five dysfunctions: Absence of trust, fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability, and inattention to results.

3. Finally, the book goes through several exercises to assess where your team is and how to overcome the dysfunctions.
