For our first video, we present to you a largely popular and a traditional Bharatanatyam piece, Ganesha Kauthuvam, composed by the Thanjavur quartet, in Rāgam Nāttai and Ādi Tālam.

This particular Kauthuvam was one of the first pieces taught to us by our Guru Smt. Rekha Dinesh( Benaka Natya Mandir), who is a direct disciple of Late Guru B Bhanumati ( Nrityakalamandiram).

We are blessed to be a part of this lineage and thus, this is a small tribute to this Guru Shishya parampara.
