A Frenchman on trial for recruiting strangers to rape his heavily sedated wife was on Wednesday excused from court for the rest of the week after his health deteriorated, the presiding judge said. FRANCE24's Monte Francis reports. FRANCE24's Sharon Gaffney speaks to Anne Cecile Mailfert, president of the Foundation des Femmes charity. She says that the trial is an opportunity to bring awareness to medical workers about sexual violence by chemical submission.
