Today we are in the beautiful town of Chiang Khan in the stunning Loei Province in Isan Thailand.

Chiang Khan is a town that is hyper popular with Thai tourists but still doesn't get many foreign tourists visiting. It's situated on the Mekong River and to me, felt like we could have been in Laos not Thailand! It was so Laos in fact that we actually went for an absolute feast at a Luang Prabang restaurant called Heon Luangprabang

When we'd finished our lovely Laos/Thai feast at Heon Luangprabang
เฮือนหลวงพระบาง, we heading up the walking street for some shaved roll ice cream, a first for me and a craft beer and a lovely little shop.
