WOOD ROT — Non Toxic Wood Repair

This video shows a non toxic way to repair common wood rot known as dry rot (or damp rot) with an all waterborne system that can be used when the wood has not been fully dried as is necessary with epoxy systems, etc. It is recommended for non structural repairs in wood windows, doors, sills and similar. It has not been proven to be acceptable for load bearing beams and framing components. It is ideal for any intricate detail as currently the product is used in molding and crafts. It is waterproof once coated with an appropriate primer and top coat and can be used indoors or out. I do not know at this time what effect freezing would have. Direct sun seems to have no effect.

I was looking for an alternate method of doing a comprehensive all-in-one system to eradicate wood fungi before the damage spread to the point that complete replacement was necessary and I discovered Aqau-Resin.
