PRIME BELT BJJ Black Belt review

An up and coming Canadian company that specializes in premium Jiu-Jitsu belts. A VERY ROBUST belt. This thing is heavy and will take some time to break in.

4.8cm wide and 0.7cm thick with 13 lines of straight stitching. With a red rank bar coming in at 4in long, this belt satisfies the IBJJF belt standards for competitors.

The front side only gold embroidery translates to “Jiu-Jitsu is the best”. Also note the cherry blossom emblem which is inspired by the official logo of the Kodokan (where Judo started, in Tokyo, Japan). As a Judo and BJJ black belt, I appreciate the homage to the roots of the grappling arts.

I highly recommend anyone to consider Prime Belt as it is very robust, IBJJF legal, and crafted with care.
