The traditional ancient market in the capital city facing the backwaters of Muttrah Cornice. Once reserved for women exclusively on Fridays, the souq was also a congregation spot. Almost everything for shoppers can be found through these clustered alleyways of little shops. Primarily authentic Omani frankincense, Oud, Honey, Handicrafts and other antiques are found here fixing itself as the node of tourism.
