Our Journey began from Ernakulam Boat Jetty on a ferry towards Vypin ferry. The ferry we travelled touched Wellington Island and Fort Kochi Ferry stations. Voyaging the backwaters is always an amazing experience. Light breeze and the engine sound of the ferry adds up to the experience. While travelling, a small ship came across our route, so we had to take a small turn that gave me a golden chance to take a 360 degree shot that almost resembled a drone shot. After reaching Vypin Ferry we moved to the walkway and the first beach. Sides of the walkway was lined with beautiful Chineese Fishing Nets, and people trying to earn their catch. Beach near the walkway is small and less crowded. Some were taking a dip in the sea water while we passed by. We left there to Vypin Lighthouse by an autorikshaw.

The Lighthouse is open to visiters till 5 in the evening. Entry ticket cost Rs.20 and for filming, you have to pay an additional Rs.10. It has a lift facility to take you up the building, but we chose the stairs for fun and that was exhausting. But the view that you get from the top and the breeze will surely refresh you. Vypin beach is clearly visible from the top of the Lighthouse (kind of a drone shot). Then, we moved on to Puthuvype beach next to the Lighthouse. It was crowded as it was the weekend, but moving further up the shore seemed to be less populated. We shot a timelapse from the beach which was ruined by the shake caused by wind. That marked the end of our weekend journey. We spent a little more time watching the sun going completely down and returned home.
Writing this was like traveling back the same route.
