The Beatles - Song Progression: Come Together

Описание к видео The Beatles - Song Progression: Come Together

Although they never played Come together during the Let It Be sessions (because it wasn't written yet) they played a song that had the same "Shoot Me" riff on the downbeat. A few days after George left the sessions, John, Paul and Ring played Watching Rainbows only one time. Later in the year, John starting thinking of writing a song for Timothy Leary, playing a version at the bed in called Get It Together which has the phrase "come together" in it. By the time they played it in the Abbey Road recording sessions, you can hear in the vocals only track that John is clearly singing SHOOT ME on the downbeat with an echoing clap to accentuate it. It is rather haunting now, to think that just 11 years after this, what happened..

Many Beatles videos on the internet just copy and paste audio from bootleg recordings. However I have tried to apply what I have learned about audio restoration and mastering so far, to help you hear these recordings more clearly and to be able to enjoy them better. Make sure to purchase or stream all the deluxe editions and Anthology compilations of The Beatles, since they have given us the gift of hearing recordings that no one else has heard in this modern day and age.
