At sunrise, the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company Saltwater Cowboys walked the North Herd Chincoteague Ponies from the north corral, across Assateague Island, and down the beach to join them with the South Herd in the south corral. Ponies can be viewed along Beach Road by the Woodland Trail until early Wednesday morning.
