Stand out highlight from the event undoubtably was 120s huge follow in on 988 Babsy plus classic Taunton pit bend action from the old shape track.

This was the second running of the event, after its first staging in 2005 was ran off the back of the Autospeed Team withdrawing from the ORCi Team Championship during the 2004 season due to scrutineering issues.
After this the Autospeed promotion as a gesture of good will put a meeting on to accommodate the 8 drivers who were in the team from Swaffham.

Off the back of all this came one of the best running annual Banger events in the south west for a number of years after that.
