Описание к видео Badlands Nodosaur | Is This The Best Preserved Fossil Ever Discovered?

The Badlands Nodosaur, discovered in 2011 is argued to be the best preserved dinosaur fossil ever discovered. Some even say that this Nodosaur fossil can be considered a Nodosaur mummy because of how well its skin, scales, and stomach contents have been preserved. The preserved dinosaur remains of this Nodosauridae are 110 millions years old, becoming unearthed in Alberta, Canada by a company called Suncor. The Nodosaurus is a dinosaur that thrived during the Cretaceous period. The Nodosaur fossil is currently housed at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology in Alberta. The excavation of the Nodosaur mummy took approximately six years, but was a worthwhile endeavor, giving the world one the best preserved fossil remains ever discovered. One can hope that there are more fossil remains out there like this Nodosaurus waiting to be found. I encourage everyone to take a deeper dive into the Nodosauridae dinosaurs as they are one of the most fascinating group of animals to ever roam our earth.
