This competitions was INSANE. During Naga Panchami or the Cobra Festival in Varanasi there are a lot of competitions throughout the city. I visited this competition on Sunday and it was brutal. It started with the Dumbbell swings also known as Rumali, then went on to the Gada or Gadha, and finished with the Nal stone lifting competition. This takes almost a full day to complete when watching. I also attempted the 38kg Gada, but unfortunately I was sick that day and wasn't able to bring my best to this competition. It was really good to see though and in the video I explain a lot about the process of the traditional Indian strength games.
