The August MS515 Portable Bluetooth Speakers are fantastic for the price. The finish of the speaker units look and feel high quality and the stereo sound is great, in both the home and when used in the car (for the kids movies on the iPad). They connected really easily to my computer, tablet and phone without issue and the battery life was around 12-15 hours.

The cable that connects the two speakers is really long so they can be placed pretty far apart and they look particularly smart sat either side to my iMac. The sound is perfectly fine around the home and in the car and whilst it excels in the high and medium ranges, the bass is slightly limited due to their size.

Aside from connecting via Bluetooth, you also get a cable for non Bluetooth devices. This is great for older devices or if you wanted to save battery life on your phone .

Overall, I think that these speakers look smart, 'feel' high quality and produce great sound for the price. The fact they come as a pair means they are best suited for either side of a computer or phone/tablet dock, or split between two children in the back of a car on long journeys. :)
