Kobudo Weapons of Ryu no Tate jutsu

This is a video I recorded many year ago when I was trying to get all of the information for Ryu no Tate jutsu on film. I had just broken away from my original school and was in the process of compiling the material that would make my style. I settled on these five kata for the body of kobudo weapons. All these year later I still have the same five kata exclusively. At some point I would like to add the Eku and maybe Tekko, maybe. I am really in no hurry to learn any new weapons just yet and the highest student I have at this point has not learned the basic set yet, so I have a bit of time. I have still yet to flesh out the kobudo style with bunkai and hojo undo. Right now there are mostly kata. I say mostly because my personal weapon is the sai and I have bunkai for Takenouchi sai and hojo undo to actually be able to apply the techniques.

I plan on putting together videos showcasing the weapon hojo undo as well as some of the bunkai of each weapon.
