HOW TO APPLY FOR SINGAPOREAN PR - Top tips for becoming a Permanent Resident In Singapore

After staying in Singapore for a while, one's goal is often to become a Permanent Resident In Singapore. It's mine, and I did some research to get the best chance for my application.

Becoming a Singapore PR is different from holding a work visa and different from being a Singaporean citizen but it has a lot of benefits:
1. Visa Flexibility: As a PR, there are no visa restrictions to enter Singapore and you can remain in Singapore for an unlimited period of time.
2. Career-wise: You are no longer required to have a work visa to stay in Singapore. You have access to more jobs or you can be self-employed.
3. Family Visit Passes: You can obtain Long Term Visit Passes (LTVP) for your family to allow them to stay longer in Singapore.
4. Education Priority: If you are considering putting your children in public schools, they will be given priority placement and subsidy.
5. CPF: You will start benefiting from the Central Provident Fund (CPF).
6. Property ownership perks: Lower stamp duties and use your CPF to offset house loan payments.

Who can apply for Singapore PR:
As a foreigner, you may be eligible to apply if you are:
a family member (spouse, adopted, parent) of a Singaporean
holder of an EP or S Pass
a student
a foreign investor
