Here is some info about the benefits and drawbacks of the Ecolawn 250. I have also owned a 150 model from 2010 until about 2020 when I bought the 250 model. The 250 model definitely throws material a lot faster and more evenly.

These are definitely not machines for people with no mechanical skills. From time to time things need to be adjusted and you need to be able to recognize you have a problem and not allow it to become a bigger or more expensive problem.

I think because of the way the Ecolawn throws material in a wide swath it is definitely easier to use than the Earth & Turf. The Earth & Turf 62SP also weighs 650 pounds while the Ecolawn 250 is only 320. A 650 pound machine is going to be a lot more weight to wrestle around to load and unload. Another top dressing person I know owns both types of machines and definitely favors the Ecolawn. Spreading heavy material like sand is where the 62SP has one advantage.
